Rugby Europe acknowledges World Rugby Statement about a potential breach of World Rugby Regulation 8 (eligibility to play for national representative teams) by the Spanish Rugby Union (FER) during the Rugby Europe Championship 2021 & 2022.
Rugby Europe has no jurisdiction over World Rugby Regulation 8 cases which are heard by independent judicial committees appointed by the independent Judicial Panel Chairman of World Rugby.
Rugby Europe will not make further comment on this case until its conclusion.
