In the light of COVID positive cases confirmed earlier in the week and today within the delegation of Rugby Union of Russia and further to the advice of the Valencian local health authorities, it has been decided that the REC2021 game between Spain and Russia, to be held on Saturday July 3rd in Alicante, will be postponed to another date.
Rugby Europe will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with the unions, local governments and health authorities and will respect the instructions received in the interests of overall public health in relation to COVID-19.
No immediate announcement will be made on rescheduling.
