Having won their first ever men’s Rugby Europe Super Cup match in round two, Bohemia Warriors backed it up at the weekend in round three with a first home win in the competition. The side from Czechia now have nine points and sit third in the six-team standings after a 30-20 triumph over Brussels Devils in the Prague Marketa Stadium.
It came hot on the heels of their 39-24 triumph away to Romania Wolves in the game before.
Ahead of the Warriors in the standings heading into the break in action - the competition resumes in December - are Castilla Y Leon Iberians from Spain and Lusitanos from Portugal who have three wins from three each and 15 points from 15 each after victories in round three.
The third round of fixtures began on Friday evening when Iberians beat bottom side Romanian Wolves 62-7 in the Estadio Nueva Balastera.
The hosts built up a 26-0 lead by the break in this one, winger Martiniano Cian Garcia scoring two tries, centre Martin Inaki Mateu Spuches one and winger Pau Aira Rebollo one against a Wolves side who were hampered by a yellow card. Gonzalo Vinuesa Garcia, the stand-off, converted three of them.
After the break the Spanish team added six more tries with Rebollo completing his hat-trick with two more and subs Nicolas Infer Arias and Beltran Ortega Martin helping themselves to try doubles.
The Wolves only try came from full-back Gabriel Gheorghe Pop converted by stand-off Ioan-Stefan Cojocariu.

On Saturday, first up the CAR Jamor stadium in Lisbon saw Lusitanos, who are just behind Iberians on points difference and play them in round five, defeat fourth placed Delta 36-10.
In very wet conditions, Delta from the Netherlands stuck with their opponents in the first half and were just 10-7 down at the interval.
A penalty from visiting full-back Bjorn Dolman then made it 10-10 after 48 minutes before Lusitanos found another gear.
Heading into the last 10 minutes they had built up a 31-10 lead and, with a few minutes remaining and Delta having a man in the sin bin, they rounded things off with a try out wide from No.8 Vasco Baptista.

Saturday night saw Bohemia Warriors keep up their good form with a 30-20 triumph over the fifth placed Brussels Devils.
It was a very tight first half and a penalty by visiting full-back Jack Kellner put the Devils 13-10 up after 40 minutes.
A try by winger Daniel Komarek, added to by a conversion and a penalty by stand-off Lukas Brada, had the Warriors 20-13 up after 65 minutes.
Another three-pointer by Brade had them 23-13 up after 71 minutes, but then the Devis scored a converted try through replacement Felipe Geraghty and suddenly it was 23-20 at all to play for.
In the final minute, the Warriors made sure of the win when sub Adam Miracky scored and Brada converted.
