During its annual general meeting, Rugby Europe announced the signing of a partnership with ERREÀ, the Italian sportswear company, for a four-year term.
Following a tender process managed by the sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports France, the Italian group was selected to become the “Official Apparel Supplier” of the European governing body until June 30th, 2023.
During this period, Erreà Sport will outfit the 250 referees on the field and the match officials (citing commissioners, tournament directors ...) during the 600 matches organized each season as well as the educators and trainers supervising the 500 training sessions implemented in the 48 member countries.
Historical brand specialized in Teamwear, Erreà Sport has been involved in rugby for a long time with partnerships, such as Wigan Warriors, Usap Perpignan, SUA Agen, Grenoble, Benetton Rugby, Zebre, Fed. Rugby XIII, Wales Rugby League or Jamaica Rugby League. Erreà will create a customized range of products to all the fans and rugby players through the launch of a dedicated e-shop platform.
The partnership will start on the first round of the Rugby Europe Championship 2020, which will take place on Saturday February 1st with the following games: Georgia-Romania, Russia-Spain and Portugal-Belgium.
Erreà joins the existing Rugby Europe partners: Société Générale, Official Partner and Rhino, Official Ball of European competitions.
