Rugby Europe 7s and Beach Calendar released for 2026

Rugby Europe is pleased to announce its locations and dates for the 2026 7s season. 

The first leg of Men and Women’s Championship Series 2026 will this time take place in Hamburg, Germany in July with Split in Croatia now taking the second leg towards the end of July to crown the annual European Champions.

These date changes have been made to work in-line with the new-look SVNS season which now takes place on the last weekend of May, followed by the first weekend of June.

The rest of the hosts remain the same as the 2025 season with Croatia,Moldova, Andorra and Kosovo kindly hosting the Trophy and Conference legs respectively. 

The Rugby Europe summer season will close with the Beach Rugby Championship which will again be held in Chisinau, Moldova after a successful tournament in 2025. 

This year the European University Games will take place in Salerno, Italy, while the Youth Olympic Games, where 7s will feature, will be held in Dakar, Senegal. 

The schedule to date is as follows:

  • First leg – Trophy Series, Makarska, Croatia, 5-7 June (Men and Women)
  • First leg – Conference 1, Andorra, 12-14 June, (Men & Women)
  • Second leg – Conference 2, Pristina, Kosovo, 13-14 June (Men only)
  • First leg, Championship Series, Hamburg, Germany, 3-5 July (Men & Women)
  • U18s Trophy, Budapest, Hungary, 17-19 July (Boys and Girls)
  • Second Leg – Championship Series, Split, Croatia, 24-26 (Men & Women)
  • European University Games, Salerno, Italy 28-30 July
  • Beach Rugby Championship, Chisinau, Moldova 22-23 August
  • Youth Olympic Games, Dakar, Senegal, 1-3 November 2026

The U18s Trophy will be held in Budapest, Hungary while a host for the U18 7s Boys and Girls Championship is still being sought.
