Registrations opened for 2023 European Universities Championship
European University Sports Association (EUSA) will organize the 9th edition of the European Universities Championship in Rugby 7s in Lisbon, Portugal from 27-31 of August.
Rugby 7s became part of the sport programme of the European Universities Championships in 2007 with the first Rugby 7s championship organized in Grenoble, France from 27-29 of September, hosting 12 University Teams from 7 European countries.

EUSA 2023 :
In 2023, 20 sports are offered in the EUSA sports programme: Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, Handball, Badminton, Water Polo, 3x3 Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal, Combat Sports (Judo, Karate, Kickboxing, Taekwondo), Basketball, Orienteering, Rugby 7s, Golf, Rowing and Beach Sports (Beach Handball and Beach Volleyball).
Lisbon shows multiple contrasts between the historical and modern, combining different cultures, trends and lifestyles, which is an added values in organizing the European Universities Championships in Rugby 7s.
Lisbon already has experience with organizing a European Universities Championship in the past, being the host of the 3rd European Unviersities Championship Badminton in July, 2006.
