The Rugby Europe Board of Directors have gathered remotely to make a number of decisions on a variety of topics related to rugby activities across Europe.
The main decisions are as follows:
- 2020/2021 seasons of the following competitions have been officially cancelled: XV Men and Women Trophy, XV Men Conference 1, 2 and Development.
- A progressive return to play pathway has been designed for those teams which will range from test matches to cross-borders tournaments to anticipated start of the 2021-2022 season, following in each case strict Return To Play protocols.
- XV U18 and U20 Championships will be postponed to summer 2021.
- 2021 Sevens season will run as scheduled in June-July 2021 for all divisions, both for Senior and Age Grade tournaments.
